In our family, nothing says August like peach milkshakes! It’s a tradition that goes back over 25 years.
Tip: To make shakes thicker, put the milk in the freezer until crystals form & it’s a bit slushy, but not frozen solid.
- 2 cups chopped ripe peaches
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1-3 pints of vanilla ice cream, depending on how thick you like your shakes
Place peaches. milk, honey, & extract in blender & blend until smooth.
Add ice cream. Blend until smooth.
