Taco Seasoning

This seasoning blend makes the best tacos! And it doesn’t have the added fillers that many of the packets that you buy in the grocery store do.

I usually make a larger batch that will season the tacos that we have for a meal and enough to store in a Tupperware spice container for three future meals.

To make enough for now & enough to store, combine:

  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Use 2 heaping tablespoons per 1.5 lbs of ground beef.

To make a single recipe, combine:

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
